In a world brimming with conflicting messages and distorted truths, it's all too easy to wander astray amidst the clamor of voices.

Familiar phrases echo around us, some bearing hints of wisdom, while others stray far from the essence of God's Word.

Keywords: Gods Word, Scripture, Who God Says We Are, Gods Truth

Consider the oft-repeated adages:

"This, too, shall pass."
"God helps those who help themselves."
"God works in mysterious ways."
"God will never give you more than you can handle."
"The eyes are the window into the soul."
"Treat others the way you want to be treated."
"Spare the rod and spoil the child."

Though these sayings may carry fragments of truth, they often drift from their biblical moorings, weaving a narrative that veers from the divine truth. While meant to offer solace or convey gentle wisdom, these maxims can subtly erode the foundation of our faith, leading us away from the unadulterated truth of our Savior.

Now, more than ever, we require the guiding light of Scripture, perhaps in multiple translations, to navigate the labyrinth of conflicting messages and discern the unerring truth that God seeks to unveil to us.

Furthermore, in our contemporary culture, we encounter an onslaught of perplexing messages, even as believers, about our true identity in God's eyes. Are we truly precious, priceless, cherished, each a unique creation fashioned with divine intent? Are we genuinely known and loved in our entirety?

Who are we, indeed? More crucially, who does God declare us to be?

Dear reader, I implore you to reach for your Bible, to turn its pages and unearth the verses that resound with the divine declaration of your identity. Though the selection below merely skims the surface, let it serve as a launching pad into the depths of God's love as He proclaims your true essence. Let His words permeate your being, reminding you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, summoned for a purpose transcending the confines of this temporal realm, beckoning you toward the embrace of eternity (2 Corinthians 4:18).

Psalm 139:14 - "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
1 Peter 2:9 - "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Romans 8:37 - "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
