Obama and Cecile Richard's Caricature of the American Woman
Hey Whoopi and Barbara -- when can I come on The View and give THIS view?
Quite frankly, Cecile, (to use a phrase you love) I've had quite enough, more than enough, of the vulgar caricature of the American woman being presented by you and Planned Parenthood and all your liberal feminist friends, Obama and his administration, and the manipulative, cowardly, dishonest institution we used to call the Press. Don't you dare tell me that my freedom and my happiness depends on the "right" to execute my own children.
Planned Parenthood pays her an annual salary of over $400k, but of course, PP simply could not survive and continue to do all their benevolent work of providing women with comprehensive health care without the generous funding they get from taxpayers, to the tune of $550 million dollars a year. (Wherever would they get revenue from if not the Federal government?)
Once more, for the record: Planned Parenthood does not now, nor have they ever provided a single woman with a mammogram. There's not one PP clinic in the country that can give a woman a mammogram. Yet once again, Barack Obama perpetuated that myth during the last debate because it serves the false narrative that women everywhere will die without PP. And of course, no one in the Obama-media bothered to tell the truth.
Planned Parenthood is not a network of health care clinics serving women out of the goodness of their hearts. It is the world's largest abortion mill. They exist to perform abortions, period. If tomorrow they could no longer kill babies, then tomorrow they would close their doors. Does anyone seriously believe otherwise? There are no million dollar profits in adoption referrals, or Pap smears, or manual breast exams, or STD testing, or condom distribution. But there are billions of dollars to be made from terminating babies.
Every dollar they make is stained with innocent blood. Every dollar of ours that they take is also blood-stained. No matter what they claim they use it for, it helps them kill babies because that's where this so-called non-profit's profits come from.
Now Cecile is scared witless that Romney will defeat her better half, so she has put aside her other job in order to concentrate on her real job -- protecting Planned Parenthood's federal gravy train and perhaps her own cushy salary. Doesn't anyone else find it slimy that the CEO of a industry that gets $550 million dollars of federal tax dollars every year is now openly campaigning for the Presidential candidate who has used every ounce of his own political capital to protect her organization from losing that federal funding?
For now til the election, Cecile will rant about the supposed misogynist policies of Romney/Ryan and how they want to take women backward 40 years and how they want to deny women basic healthcare, and blah, blah, blah. She will paint another layer on the portrait of the American woman that she and Obama and every other pro-abortion Democrat has been holding up as the only true picture of women today.
FOR THE RECORD: First, don't any of you dare reduce me to my "lady parts." You wanna talk about sexist remarks? That one takes the cake, and the irony is that "women" are the ones spouting it. So much for the value of our intellect, ladies. All that really matters is our vagina.
Speaking of vaginas, stop dressing up in vagina costumes already. It's gross and childish and makes you look like a complete idiot. You're only furthering the idea that women are nothing more than vaginas. Grow up.
For heaven's sake, stop making political ads with naked women holding signs in front of their bodies. Again, you're the ones portraying women as merely physical, sexual objects reduced to reproductive organs, and you're blaming Republican MEN for this?
Above all, don't you dare -- and I mean don't you DARE -- tell me that my freedom, my success, my autonomy, my happiness, my life is found in executing my own children. Don't you dare tell me that I can only be who I'm meant to be and have the life I want if I literally tear my babies into pieces. Terminating my children is not the mark of my liberation. Do not tell me that the womb must also be a child's death chamber in order for me to be wholly free. Don't you dare insist that women are only empowered when they can snuff out the lives of their own sons and daughters.
Abortion is NOT health care! No procedure that intentionally leaves a human being dead can be considered health care. ...

Mary: Good for you! It is nice to hear young parents who still believe and practice them. Handing morals down to the next generation is a responsibility that goes with pro-creation. I am glad you posted. Blessings to you and yours...
Yes! Way to go! You articulated so many talking points so eloquently. Geeze, I have tried to argue my point with non-Catholics, and they just think that sex is so necessary to life. Let me tell you, I have struggled with some sexual sins in my past, and this deployment has been long and I miss my husband SOOOO much, but I have NOT once stumbled this time with carrying out a sexual sin - and this has been the longest deployment for us (8 months). I am not a prude, but I want to remain faithful to my husband and my God. I am living proof that life DOESN'T END when your itch isn't being scratched by someone else or yourself. I just hope that I'm not in my fertile window when my husband comes home! But that isn't hampering my freedom. I am still a wife and a mother, even if we don't engage in the marital act right away. We must remember to continue to pray for our enemies, especially for them to be open to conversion.
This comment is for Rob
“I've got two daughters, 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby," - Barrack Obama on Presidential campaign trail, spring 2008.
Obama did nothing as a Illinois state senator to stop viable children from being allowed to die if they were aborted and came out of the procedure "alive" -- they would be allowed to die in the cold in the corner of the "procedure" room in which they were born for all he cares. He had the chance to vote against it and did nothing.
I don't see him having "morals and values" that are not self serving.
I will gladly vote against him.
Bill Sr.: My sincerest and heartfelt thanks go out to you in your address to Rob. It was, as JoAnn said, "...full of love and concern...and I could not have said it better myself". Again Thank you. Blessings...
YES! BARBARA IT'S YOUR SHOW.. WHEN WILL YOU HAVE JENNIFER HARTLINE ON THE VIEW AS YOUR SPECIAL GUEST???????
JENNIFER YOU ARE THE BEST 0F THE BEST!
THANK YOU!!! I can't express how much I needed to hear that I am not alone in my disgust for all that is said and done by the so called "defenders" of women. May God Bless You.
"What is not know is what exactly I'm getting from the other side. Love them or hate them, at least I know where they stand. GOP? Who the heck knows? Seems to be shifting every day."
This partial quote from a comment left below provides a sad commentary of just how much our media are in the bag for Obama. That is where it is made to seem that the GOP's position "seems to be shifting every day." PLEASE, everyone, check deeper into the information that is presented over the airwaves through the dinosaur media. As the Obama campaign begins to find that too many of us are awakening form our collective slumber (trance) of 2008, desperation sets in. His allies in the mainstream media react accordingly, dutifully sending out half-truths and outright lies to create as much confusion in these, the final days before the election. Sadly, we can only expect MUCH more of the same in coming days.
As for tossing up one's hands and going for some third-party candidate, that is exactly what the Obama campaign would like. It's your right to do so, of course, but a vote for a third-party candidate is a vote for Obama and all he represents. No candidate will ever be perfect, reflecting all that we as individuals or as members of the Catholic Church stand for, but if one will take a minute to honestly weigh the differences, the choice will hopefully appear in crystal clarity.
Bill Sr.: Bless you, my friend. Your post to Rob was full of love and concern. I could not have said it better myself. God bless.
Rob,
Peace to You
When one reviews what you have stated here and elsewhere on CO regarding your puzzling dilemma as you prepare to approach the voting booth next month it seems clear even with all that the many gracious Catholic brethren responding to you in good faith to help you nothing they (or I) have said has been able to add any measure of comfort to you. Personally, it is obvious these messages, given with a large portion of compassion, should have been all one in your position would have needed to calm your vibrant concerns. However, I think in directing our responses we have mostly been judging and addressing this from the shallow waters of a temporal stand point based on civil issues and truly your real need can only be satisfied by a deeper clerical guidance from your trusted spiritual director. Hopefully you have a priest in your area to whom you can go and explain how you feel just as you have stated here to us for he, unlike us, can enter with you to the place in your heart which is troubling you most and bring spiritual peace and justifiable resolution for you. God Bless
