LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Jackie Hill-Perry, a rap artist who previously identified as lesbian, told a Christian radio show in 2013 that she had changed and become straight after seeking help from God.

"I think we've made God very little if we believe that He cannot change people. If He can make a moon, stars and a galaxy that we have yet to fully comprehend, how can He not simply change my desires?" Hill-Perry explained.

God can do anything. Learn more about what God can do by reading his word!

Hill-Perry says she began dating women at the age of 17, but that she quit that life in 2008 as she realized it was wrong and contrary to God's will. Last March, she married Preston Perry, who performs with her as part of a husband and wife duo.

Hill-Perry shows the transformative power of God to all of us. A person who is truly devoted to change and who accepts and embraces God, will be open to miracles that can turn everything around. It has happened countless times, but it is rarely noted in the media.

Hill-Perry told the radio program that nearly half of the comments she has received on social media are criticizing her change to being straight and her marriage to a man. This is the power of the homosexual equivalency lobby made of militant homosexuals who preach as a matter of faith, that same-sex attraction is inherent, normal, and requires special accommodation.

Yet the example of Hill-Perry shows us that the correct response is to deepen one's relationship with God.

Jackie Hill-Perry is releasing a new album, for free on November 4. It is titled, "The Art of Joy."
