Missionary to Ireland, also called Iberius and Ivor. With Sts. Kiaran, Ailbhe, Declan, and others, he evangelized the two regions of Leinster and Meath. Ibar perhaps predated St. Patrick in Ireland, although Patrick is generally considered the first successful missionary among the Irish. Ibar also founded Beggery Monastery on the island of Beg Eire.
