Scottish pilgrim, also listed as Ludain or Luden. He was probably the son of a Scottish prince who made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. On his return, Ludan stopped at Scherkirchen, near Strasbourg, France, where he died, while the local church bells saluted him miraculously.
