Fr. Joachim on the role of the�priesthood�and how it is a ministry of �mediation on behalf of the faithful based on the self sacrifice of Christ who is both�priest�and victim. This sacrifice is re-presented during each Mass where the one sacrifice at Calvary is made present to us. The priest, through his ordination, shares in the sacrifice in Persona Christi and the lay people as well, through Baptism, participate in the same sacrifice as the Mystical Body of Christ.
